This place is an "oasis of the farthest reaches of travel". This hotel, tucked away in Higashi-Kujo, which stretches behind Kyoto Station, is a place to cure travelers of their dryness.

If this place, located on the opposite side of the city from the tourist attractions, is the "farthest ends" of Kyoto, why not create an oasis there? With this in mind, HOTEL SHE, KYOTO was completed.

When you open the door…

The first thing you see when you enter the room is the wall painted mint green all over.

The artwork and cushions in each room are different in design. We hope you will like them.

Rooms are equipped with analog record players. We consider a hotel as a place where you can "try on a lifestyle" and provide you with an extraordinary experience in the midst of everyday life.

Next to the reception is a record rack with vinyl records selected by the record store "Pinks Vinyl". You can borrow records for free. The rack also has a "Vinyl Carte" record diagnosis, so you can choose the one that best fits your mood today.

We are so accustomed to the high-tech music we listen to on our smartphones that we will surely be captivated by music mixed with noise that flows when we drop the needle on a record player.

Sweet ice cream for your tiredness

We have an ice cream parlor "PARLOR SHE, SIDE". We have 10 kinds of craft ice cream from a very popular diner "BIG BABY ICECREAM" in Kanagawa prefecture. We offer an "ice cream inclusive" service that allows our guests to enjoy their favorite flavors of craft ice cream for free once per night.

The charm of this craft culture is that you can sense the originality of things created by factors such as the climate of the region where they are made and the creator's commitment to their craft.

We have also created this hotel by deciphering the local climate and atmosphere and incorporating them into the space.That's why we're bringing the magic of craft culture to you through our "Ice cream Inclusive" service. Enjoy our sweet, cold, and cute and tempting flavors to relieve traveler's fatigue.

A morning like a scene from a movie

The PARLOR SHE, SIDE café, located inside the hotel, is open to non-guests as well. The drink we recommend with ice cream is the iconic "Tomo Cola," a craft cola made with 15 different herbs and spices, with a hint of lavender. It has a spicy yet gentle and mysterious taste.

PARLOR SHE, SIDE also offers breakfast. Three different boxes of American waffles are available. Spend your morning like a scene from a movie in the lobby decorated in smoky pink.

In a place called Higashi Kujo, Kyoto

Higashikujo, where HOTEL SHE, KYOTO is located, is on the opposite side of the city from the tourist attractions, and has a history that is not so sunny. At the same time, however, it is a town where the locals have slowly built up a history.

Toji Temple, a World Heritage site with 1,200 years of history and the remains of the Heian-kyo capital.
