■Your privacy is protected as each bed is vertically long and surrounded from both sides by partitions which are half as long as the depth of the bed itself.
■Female guests can also stay at ease as it is popular among quite a lot of them. It is good too for couples trying to stay at moderate rates.
■Each bed has a safety box locked by a code.
■Each bed has a bedside lamp, plug, and shelf.
■Each bed has a curtain.
■Shower rooms, toilets, and washbowls are shared with other guests.
About Guesthouse U-EN
The building was built more than 110 years ago in Meiji era as a main building of a sake brewery, diverted to a high class Japanese restaurant, and now reused as accommodations.
No room has toilet nor shower room. In addition, being a wooden structure with a long history, the doors (fusuma) and walls are not soundproof. All rooms are placed on the second floor.
