"nagare" Japanese traditional private house [Nagano / Iijima-cho]
This private house was renovated from a 100-year-old Japanese traditional and is limited to one couple per day.
From the living room and garden, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Chuo Alps. In front of the inn is a small country town with peaceful satoyama and rice field scenery.
The owners are a couple who have traveled around the world for 500 days.
Living/dining room with views of the Alps.
The living space has vintage Scandinavian furniture and a French yellow wood stove. The stove is at your disposal (October~April).
The base color of the bedroom is white, not unlike a traditional Japanese room. There is a bed, a sofa, and a dresser to relax and unwind.
If there are more people, we will add a single bed.
Modern and simple Tatami room. A nostalgic space that is uniquely Japanese. The door that was used in this house in the past is reused.
This is a place to relax and unwind. It can also be used as a bedroom.
You can read a book, have tea, or eat dinner. You can also lay out a futon and sleep on it.
A traditional earthen floor(DOMA)kitchen. The earthen walls of those days are left as they were in the DOMA kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with basic cooking utensils, plates, and cutlery. A dishwasher is also provided and can be used freely.
We recommend that you stay here while cooking your own meals as if you were slowly living in the house. The kitchen is open to the dining room when the door is opened.
Bathrooms overlooking the Central Alps with the soothing scent of hinoki cypress.
Guests can relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the fields and mountains in the garden while relieving their daily fatigue.
Amenities are provided by MARKS&WEB. There are two restrooms available.
