SAKAINOMA means “MA” of SAKAI. The Chinese characters of “MA” encompass "space", "time" and "lines" in Japanese.

Enjoy Sakai’s hidden treasures-both old and new with the theme of “space”, “time” and “lines”. And our hotels are for your touring and walking in the town without crowd.

HOTEL KUMA was recently renovated from an old charming house to a modern style hotel, where you can experience the lifestyle and culture of the people in the town who have lived in Sakai for many years. This one-story Japanese house is divided into a "main wing" and a "remote wing" by the porch. Both of them measuring 6 tatami mats.

At the back of Café, there are 2 rooms where we can accommodate 2 groups per day. In the café you can indulge in a delicious breakfast. (Wednesday and Thursday are closed)
