① About a Public Sauna

A Public Sauna is a shared sauna that can be enjoyed by multiple guests.

• Maximum capacity per sauna: 6 people

• Maximum guests per booking: 4 people

This limit ensures a comfortable experience even for solo guests.

② Introduction to The Sauna

The Sauna was built with the theme "All Nature".
Experience a Finnish-style sauna surrounded by nature that changes with the seasons.

Choose from 2 saunas:

Unit 1: Yksi

The first sauna, created with imagination and passion.

• The wood-burning stove is the heart of the sauna.

• Dim lighting, flickering flames, crackling firewood, and sunlight on sauna stones create a unique atmosphere.

Unit 2: Kaksi

Built by staff in 2020, this second sauna (Kaksi = "two" in Finnish) is a rare two-story structure.

• Enjoy a sense of being enveloped by heat and the excitement of gathering with friends in the attic.

• Larger space than Yksi with big windows for an open, relaxing feeling.

Barrel Cold Bath

Draws spring water from Mt. Kurohime.

• Temperature changes with the season and weather.

Approximate seasonal temperatures:

• April–June: 11°C / July–September: 16°C

• October–December: 9°C / January–March: 3°C

Lake Nojiri Dive

During summer, guests can dive directly into Lake Nojiri, located right in front of the sauna, instead of using the cold bath.

Available season: Mid-May to end of August (varies depending on water level)

Outdoor Cooling AreaRelax in the forested outdoor area in front of the sauna.
Covered areas and umbrellas are available in case of rain or snow.

③ Reservation Details (Pricing, Time Slots, Rentals)

Pricing:

• Weekdays: ¥3,500 per person

• Weekends & Holidays: ¥4,500 per person

Capacity:

• 1–6 guests per sauna (up to 4 guests per group)

• Groups of 5 or more should book a private sauna instead

Time Slots (sauna usage only; shower/dressing time not included)

• 10:00–12:00

• 12:40–14:40

• 15:20–17:20

• 18:00–20:00

Unit 2: Kaksi

• 9:00–11:00

• 11:40–13:40

• 14:20–16:20

• 17:00–19:00

• 19:40–21:10 (weekends & holidays only)

Rental Items (available at reception)

• Poncho: ¥500

• Swimsuit, towel, sandals: free of charge

• Sauna hats are not available for rental

• Personal items can be brought and used

LAMP offers a variety of rooms from minimal single-occupancy rooms to large 1-building accommodations and sauna-equipped trailer houses.

Earthboat

• Type: Sauna-equipped 1-building trailer house

• Capacity: 1–3 guests

• Price: ¥46,000~

• Facilities: Sauna / Cold Bath / Mini Kitchen / Shower / Toilet

Swallow

• Type: Sauna-equipped 1-building trailer house

• Capacity: 1–2 guests

• Price: ¥37,800~

• Facilities: Sauna / Cold Bath
  Shower and toilet are outside the room

BESSOU

• Type: Entire building rental

• Capacity: 1–6 guests

• Price: ¥52,000~

• Facilities: Terrace / Kitchen / Bath / Toilet / Wood Stove

LAMP Main Building

• Type: Double / Twin / Family Room / Japanese-style room (8–10 tatami mats)

• Capacity: 1–6 guests

• Price: ¥7,500~

• Facilities: Shared toilet and bath

⑤ How to Book & Notes

STEP 1 – Select Plan / Number of Guests / Stay Date / Room Type

• Select in order: Plan → Number of Guests → Date → Room

  Room details and interior photos are available via "View Details" on the selection page.

• To book multiple rooms for a group, click "➕ Add Room" to select a second room.

STEP 2 – Select Sauna / Dinner / Breakfast

• Choose your sauna time here.

• Select the dropdown to see available slots.

• If a slot shows "No availability", it is fully booked.

• Sauna must be reserved in advance to use it during your stay.

STEP 3 – Enter Guest Information

• After confirming your selection, input guest information to complete the booking.

• Payment is via credit card at the time of booking.

• If you need to pay on-site, please call 026-258-2978 (8:00–20:00).

⑥ Cancellation Policy

Accommodation:

• 7–5 days prior: 20%

• 4–2 days prior: 30%

• 1 day prior: 50%

• Same day: 100%

Sauna:

• 1 day prior: 50%

• Same day: 100%

Note: Changing the date within the above period incurs the same cancellation fees.

⑦ Q&A

Q. Can I book two rooms for my stay?
A. Yes. On the guest number selection screen, click "➕ Add Room" to select two or more rooms.

Q. Can I book a private sauna?
A. Unit 1 (Yksi) and Unit 2 (Kaksi) cannot be reserved for private use.

Q. Can I book a sauna on the check-out day?
A. Each accommodation plan allows booking only one sauna slot. If you want additional sauna sessions, please book separately here: [Totonoeru – Authentic Finnish Sauna Experience]

Q. Can I book for 5 or more guests?
A. Public saunas accept up to 4 guests per booking. For 5 or more, please reserve a private sauna (Kolme/Nelja/Viisi) and make a separate accommodation booking without meals.

Q. Are breakfast and dinner included in the plan price?
A. If you choose the à la carte option for dinner, your reservation will be for seats only.
If you prefer the hot pot dinner, you can select it as an option during the booking process. It is available for groups of two or more and must be reserved at least one week in advance.

Breakfast can also be added as an option. Please select the number of guests when booking.

Payment & Booking Notes

1. Payment is processed from the card registered at booking the day after the usage date.

2. Even if the card has available credit at booking, exceeding the limit before the usage date may result in automatic cancellation.

3. If automatically canceled, you will receive an email notification. Please adjust your credit limit or use another card to rebook.
