Kurotsubaki (black camellia) blooms beautifully every year in March in the East Garden, the garden of history. The glossy and graceful appearance of the flowers has been a soothing experience for many people. Like the Shakuyaku, it has long been used as the name of a guestroom at Ohana.
It is located on the top floor in a corner room and offers a view of the East Garden side centering on the pond, which still retains the atmosphere of the Edo period. There are two bedrooms, making it ideal for families or friends to stay together.
