Boutique hotel “mont” opens in Nozawa Onsen Village, renowned as a winter ski resort.

Renovated from a century-old inn standing in the village center, the space cherishes the essence of Nozawa—its traditional fire festivals and hot spring culture—while blending contemporary sensibilities in food, drink, and design. Serving as a cultural hub connecting the village's memories to the future while enjoying the charm of each season, it will open on January 19, 2026.

The concept centers on

two elements symbolizing Nozawa Onsen:

“Fire” (the traditional fire festival “Dosojin Matsuri”) and

“Water” (hot springs, snow, and spring water).

We have incorporated these contrasting energies, the source of life, into our design and services. Reservations open September 4, 2025.

Currently, reservations are available for stays from January 19 to March 31, 2026, with a minimum of 3 nights.

From April 1, 2026, the minimum night requirement will be relaxed.
