Sukiyaki with Okayama’s Local Pork

Pork selected for sukiyaki is the “Kuro Yabu Buta” (Kuro Yabu Pork) bred in Nagicho, Okayama aka a brand of “Okayama Kurobuta” (black pork).
The shoulder loin is exquisite with melting fat.
Vegetables cooked in the sweet sukiyaki sauce are exceptionally delicious as well.
The egg used for dipping in the pork and vegetables is the “Hoshi no Sato” egg by “Sakamoto Keiran” in Kurashiki, Okayama.
The chickens are given homemade fermented feed and alkaline water from 130m underground.
Ichimonji Udon noodles of Setouchi, Okayama will wrap up the meal. As the noodles are made by grinding wheat twice, you can fully enjoy the wheat aroma.

Cooking | Preparation
1. Put the sukiyaki sauce on fire with low to medium heat and enjoy while simmering the ingredients.
※ Please be careful of boil overs.2. Cook “Ichimonji Udon” noodles (of Setouchi, Okayama) in soup packed with pork umami.

• Price: ¥4,000 per person (tax included, drinks not included, one drink minimum)
• Time: Please specify your preferred start time between 16:00 and 19:00. Last order is at 20:00.Reservations must be made at least five days before your stay.

Is there a restaurant inside the facility?
Yes, there is an on-site restaurant called “pile” where you can enjoy lasagna made with local ingredients and natural wine. For details on the menu, please check our instagram account. About café “pile” Opening Hours: 12:00 to 20:30 (Last Order at 20:00) ※Closed to public on Mondays and Tuesdays, but available everyday for in-house guests.
Is there a bath & shower inside the room?
There is no bath in each guest room. Available time: from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the following day, 50 minutes per couple Available reservation slots 1) from 4:00 p.m. / 2) from 5:00 p.m. / 3) from 6:00 p.m. / 4) from 7:00 p.m. / 5) from 8:00 p.m. *After 9:00 p.m., you can use the room without a reservation. Reservation method: Please make a reservation through the website below or upon check-in. https://www.denimhostelfloat.com/en/private-bath The baths at our hostel are reserved for private use, and guests are welcome to bathe with other guests. If you are staying for consecutive nights, please apply for the number of days you wish to stay. Please note that we will be cleaning from 9am to 1pm.
Is it a non-smoking facility?
Yes, all rooms are non-smoking but we do have a smoking area outdoors.
Can we check-in after 21:00?
Our standard check-in time is between 16:00 and 21:00. If you wish to check-in after 21:00, an additional fee will be charged (up to a maximum of 9,000 yen). For check-in after 22:00, we will provide instructions for a remote check-in. The latest check-in time is 24:00. An extra charge of 3,000 yen applies after 21:00. After 22:00, an additional 1,500 yen will be incurred every 30 minutes.
