Tipy records inn has an unusual discount: the Record Discount. Donate a record or CD that means something to you, together with a short note on our "THE RECORD PAPER", and we'll take ¥500 off your stay.
Your record will be kept at the inn for future travelers to listen to and enjoy. It may add a little to your luggage, but we look forward to your music and the story behind it.

■Why records?
As a teenager, our owner spent almost every week at Tower Records in Odawara, discovering new music at the listening stations. When that store closed, it felt like losing a best friend. He wanted young people in Odawara to keep meeting music face to face.
Opening a record shop alone seemed hard in the streaming era. Then he heard that record shops sometimes buy records abroad, and thought: "Why not ask travelers to bring them?" Since then, records, and the stories behind them, have arrived from all over the world.

Whichever building your room is in, please check in at the café & lounge at Tipy records inn photon (2-5-30 Sakaecho, Odawara). Check-in is from 15:00 to 22:00. If you will arrive after 22:00, self check-in is available – please let us know your arrival time in advance.
Staying with children
We are unable to accept children under 2. Preschool children can share a bed with an adult free of charge (one child per adult). However, as this is a guesthouse with shared spaces and voices carry easily, we do not recommend it for small children.
Shared toilet, shower and kitchen
Tipy records inn hanare is a guesthouse: the toilet, shower and kitchen are shared with other guests.
Amenities
We provide a face towel, a bath towel and a toothbrush. Nightwear is not provided, so please bring your own. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are available in the shower room, and laundry detergent is provided in the laundry area.
