This plan offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese culture. You'll take a traditional Shodo lesson from an experienced instructor at a studio in Minami-Shinagawa, just a short walk from PETALS TOKYO.

It's a chance to combine a stay in a refined, waterside setting with the special experience of touching on Japan's traditional arts.

While it's easy to pack your travel schedule, why not take some time for yourself in the tranquil, nostalgic streets of our local neighborhood and enjoy a moment of quiet reflection?

Recommended Features

1. Join Us Empty-Handed
You don't need to bring anything! We provide all the necessary tools for Shodo, including brushes, ink, and paper. You can easily experience Japanese culture in the Shinagawa area, which is highly accessible from major airports and train stations.

2. Learn from a Professional Instructor
An experienced Shodo instructor will guide you through the process, from the history of Shodo to how to handle the tools, grind the ink, and finally, put brush to paper. The instructor can also teach in English, so even first-time foreign visitors can enjoy the experience with peace of mind.

3. Optional Kimono or Yukata Experience
Add a special touch to your Shodo session by wearing a kimono or yukata. We'll assist with the dressing, so it's a worry-free experience even if it's your first time. This is a perfect way to make a lasting memory at the end of your trip.

■ Stay Period: From Monday, September 8, 2025

■ Experience Start Time: You can choose a designated time slot between 10:30 AM and 7:30 PM on either your check-in or check-out day.

■ Booking Period: From 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 4, 2025

■ Applicable Rooms: All rooms (PETAL1-4)

■ Occupancy: For 2 guests

■ Group Size: 2 to 8 people

■ Accommodation Fee: From ¥100,000 (per room, tax included)

・Due to the nature of our facility, we may be unable to accommodate your stay in the event of severe weather, such as typhoons or strong winds. In this case, no cancellation fees will be charged.

・Please also understand that if your stay is canceled, we cannot offer the benefits of the plan for purchase separately.

・We kindly ask that children under 15 and pets do not stay at our facility.
