Day-Use Sauna: Tanagokoro Sauna Oasis
In January 2023, a new sauna joined Tanagokoro Village!
This facility, named "Tanagokoro Sauna Oasis," lavishly uses Hinohara Village timber, and its heat source is a wood-burning stove fueled by Hinohara Village firewood.

Right in front of the sauna flows the Akigawa River, a clear stream of Hinohara Village.
It's perfect for river activities in summer, and even in winter, you can warm your body in the sauna and then enjoy a natural cold plunge in the river.

"I'm not brave enough for the river..." If that's you, don't worry! Next to the sauna room, we've prepared a deck for your relaxation space. It's fully equipped with a shower, a cold plunge tub, and chairs, allowing you to have the breathtaking valley view all to yourself.

The temperature of the sauna room and cold plunge tub can be adjusted to your preference at the time of reservation, ensuring a special, private experience unique to a private rental!

Sauna use is by reservation only (reservations required from 365 days in advance up to 5 PM the day before), allowing you to enjoy a private space. Please bring and wear your swimsuit at this sauna.
Pricing (Capacity: 10 people)
・Up to 2 people: 22,000 yen / group
・From 3 people onwards: 4,400 yen / person
Note: The recommended maximum number of people for simultaneous use in the sauna room is 5. For groups larger than 5, please take turns enjoying the sauna.
★Guests staying overnight can use the sauna for 11,000 yen! (Excludes checkout day. If you wish to use it on your checkout day, please make a day-use reservation.)
Usage Time
2 hours 30 minutes.
Please choose from the following time slots when making your reservation. The time you reserve is exclusively for your group, so no other groups will be using the sauna hut.
① 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
② 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
③ 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Please note: The 2 hours 30 minutes includes time for changing clothes before and after. To maximize your enjoyment, please arrive at the reception (Tanagokoro counter) at least 15 minutes prior to your reserved time.
Please enjoy meals and drinks at Tanagokoro before or after your sauna session.
Tanagokoro's operating hours are 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Therefore, if you wish to order pizza, other meals, or drinks when booking the 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM slot, please place your order at the reception upon arrival.
Please understand that we cannot accept orders after 6:00 PM.
During winter, Tanagokoro will be closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and additionally on Wednesdays.
If you plan to visit for food and drinks, please ensure you come on a Tanagokoro business day.

Facility Precautions
Are there any convenience stores nearby?
Unfortunately, there are no stores or vending machines in the immediate vicinity. Please prepare any food ingredients, seasonings, or other necessities you might need in advance.
What's the climate like?
While we're in Tokyo, we're located deep in the mountains at a high elevation. This means winters are very cold, and even in summer, mornings and evenings can be cool. Please pay close attention to your clothing, especially during winter.
Can we set off fireworks?
No, but you're welcome to enjoy handheld fireworks only on the Akigawa riverbed, which flows directly below our facility. Please refrain from using projectile fireworks. Remember to take all your trash with you.
Is there a TV?
No, there is no TV provided. We encourage you to enjoy conversations with family and friends or simply embrace the peaceful atmosphere.
How can we enjoy pizza making?
Pizza making is an exclusive activity for guests staying overnight at YURAKU or those with a full-day private rental. If you wish to make pizza, you can pre-order pizza dough (for a fee) as an option, and we'll provide it on the day of your stay. Please bring your own sauce and toppings. If you need instructions on how to use the pizza oven or a pizza-making lecture, please ask our staff on the day.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available.
What payment methods are accepted on-site?
You can pay with cash, credit cards, e-money, or QR code payments.
Can we play in the river or have a day BBQ before check-in?
We apologize, but due to facility cleaning and parking arrangements, we cannot accommodate early arrivals before check-in or day-use BBQs. Please enjoy river activities and barbecuing only during your stay, from check-in until check-out.
What should we do for meals during our stay?
Please prepare your own meals using our BBQ facilities and cooking utensils. Please note that while Hidamari does not have BBQ facilities, it does have a kitchen. Guests staying at Chame House or Hidamari can add a breakfast option. ★ Don't forget to visit the bakery "Tanagokoro" located within Tanagokoro Village! Besides bread, we also offer lunch menus like pizza and pasta, and cafe items. You can enjoy bread and pizza for takeout or dine-in during business hours. Feel free to stop by during your stay or even after check-out!
When can I change the number of people in my reservation?
Please make changes at least three days in advance. However, if you have a last-minute change, please let us know as soon as possible. If the number of people decreases during the period when cancellation fees apply, you will be charged a cancellation fee. You can change your reservation by following the link in the confirmation email you received when you booked, or by contacting our email address listed as the contact point.
