This guest room features floorboards of virgin hiba cypress sourced from the Noto Peninsula with its softly-figured wood grain and delicate, natural scent.
Encompassed by the gentle greys of the room’s walls, the light here softly diffuses against a ceiling done in local Echizen Washi handmade paper.
The two-section bunk beds are built into the wall and feature privacy curtains and night lights.
Open wide with a clatter the antique wood-framed windows and drink in the seasonal scenery of Kuromon-mae Ryokuchi Park—cherry blossoms in spring, rich greenery in summer, red and yellow foliage in fall, or snowy landscapes in winter.

Closing Hours
The guest house is closed from 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to allow for cleaning and maintenance. If you’d like to drop off your luggage before checking in, please come by the guest house between 9:00 and 11:30 a.m.
Last Check-in Time
Check-in time is by 18:00. If you check in between 18:00 and 19:00, we will charge you 500yen per person for late check-in fee. If you do not show by 19:00, your reservation will be cancelled and you will be charged a cancellation fee. We are operating by few members, so we would appreciate it if you would understand this rule in advance.

Payment for all reservations can be made by credit card. Please enter your credit card details on the reservation screen of the Guest House Shiro website after entering your accommodation dates, room selection, name, etc. The payment for your stay (the day you use your credit card) will be made on the day of your stay. The payment is automatically made on the day of check-in.
Cancellation policy
In the event of cancellation or change to your stay, the following cancellation policy will automatically apply. Cancellation fees; ・free of charge up to 6 days before the check-in date. ・50% from 5 to 1 day before the check-in date. ・80% if cancellation is notified on the check-in date. ・100% if no-show on the check-in date.
