[Dinner]
Dinner service is not included with this plan.
We will be unable to add dinner service after the fact, so please select the "Standard Plan" or the "Early Check-out Plan" if you wish to have dinner at the ryokan.
[Breakfast]
Breakfast is served in the dining room (in-room meal service not possible).
[Allergies]
Please tell us about any allergies you may have when making your reservation.
In the case of multiple food allergies, it may not be possible for us to accomodate requests received just before the date of reservation (day before or day-of).
Also, we are unable to accomodate the following food allergies:
Allergens included in basic food ingredients (flour, beans, eggs, milk), meats, fish and seafood included in soup stock (bonito, mackerel, konbu seaweed, etc.), mushrooms.
*Please understand that we do not accept menu change requests based on personal likes and dislikes.
*We do not accomodate vegan, halal, and vegetarian diets.
[Baths]
There is no large public bath in our ryokan. The three small baths we have are all private baths.
*Guests may have to wait to use these baths if other guests are using them.
*We do not accept advance reservations, and guests may use the baths for a maximum of 40 minutes per use.
*The baths may be used from 3:00pm to 11:00am next day.
[Smoking]
Smoking is prohibited anywhere in the ryokan. Please use the smoking room located outside of the front entrance.
[Children]
If you are accompanied by children, you cannot make reservations online. Reservations including children can only be made over the phone. Please note that if you happen to make a reservation with children online, that reservation will be invalid.
[Notices about facilities]
There are no elevators in the ryokan, so we ask for guests with physical disabilities that make climbing stairs difficult to consult with us by e-mail before making a reservation.
[Payment at the ryokan]
We accept a variety of major credit cards.
[Note to guests who book multiple rooms]
It is possible your rooms may not be next to one another.
Please refrain from reserving different plans for each room.
[Provisional bookings]
Please refrain from making provisional bookings for multiple nights and/or multiple rooms.
[Bath fees]
We charge an additional ¥150 (per adult guest per night) for the use of our baths.
[Maximum number of nights]
This plan is limited to one-night bookings.
For guests who wish to stay 2 nights, please select the "Standard Plan."

How many nights can I book?
Guests may book up to a maximum of 2 nights.
Is there a parking lot ?
There is a free parking lot for guests.
Does the ryokan accomodate vegan, halal, and vegetarian diets?
We do not accomodate vegan, halal, and vegetarian diets.
Can children (12 and under) stay?
Guests with children are only able to stay in D type rooms. Furthermore, guests may not make online reservations if they plan on bringing children. Please make a reservation by phone.
Is there a large public bath?
We do not have a large public bath. There are 3 private rental baths in the ryokan.
Do I need an advance reservation to use the private baths?
Guests do not need to reserve (reservations are not accepted) the private baths. Feel free to use any open bath for a maximum of 40 minutes per use. The baths are often especially busy between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Please understand that you may have to wait to use the baths if they are occupied.
Are there shuttle busses to and from the ryokan for those using public transport?
A free shuttle bus is available for guests to take from the Shima Onsen Bus Stop (terminal stop of the local bus line). We do not take advance reservations, so please call Hinatamikan after you arrive at Shima Onsen Bus Stop. Also, please note that the shuttle bus service is available from 2:30pm.
Do you accept credit cards or electronic payment?
We accept various major credit cards. *Diners Club is not available
Is there a smoking room?
All rooms in the ryokan, including guest rooms, are non-smoking. Guests may smoke in the smoking room outside the front entrance.
Is there a dress code in the ryokan?
There is no dress code in the ryokan, and guests are welcome to wear the yukata found in their rooms anywhere within the ryokan, including when going to the baths and the dining room.
Can I use the private baths if I have tattoos?
Yes, guests with tattoos are welcome to use the private baths.
Do I need winter tires if I am going to drive in the winter?
Winter tires are required from December to March.
