Cozy Bedroom with Surrounding Bookshelf
The bedroom has two beds arranged as if they were inside a bookcase. The sense of being surrounded invites a restful sleep. For extra beds, there is a pull-out bed under the main bed and an air bed.
Cat's Paw Bathtub and Sunroom
The bathroom features a sunroom beyond its window, allowing you to gaze upon the greenery. Indulge in a relaxing bath in the unique cat's paw bathtub that molds to your back, providing a distinctive bathing experience.
Live Like a Local
Start your day by waking up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Seating yourself at the elevated kitchen counter offers a feeling akin to being abroad. The kitchen space is equipped with a 2-burner IH stove, oven microwave, refrigerator, and other cooking utensils. Cooking during your travels can be a delightful adventure, and we recommend visiting the Farmers' Market (Onna Village has a market called "Onna no Eki") to purchase local vegetables.

The Hidden Star
In fact, the star of The Guava Shack may be the garden. It is hard to find a garden with this many tropical plants in Japan. Surrounded by greenery, you can have breakfast, do yoga, read a book, sunbathe, and spend endless hours in the garden.
There is also a garden pool surrounded on all sides by tropical plants. Just watching the shadows of banana reefs fall on the surface of the water is a soothing sight.
Island bananas, papayas, and passion fruits are also planted, and we will share them with you if the timing is right.

The maximum capacity is 4 guests. Please refrain from exceeding the number of people for whom you have made a reservation.
Regarding Accommodation for Children
Children aged 0 to 2 who share the bed with their parents can stay at no additional charge. For children aged 3 and above, the same rates as adults apply. Please note that The Guava Shack is not specifically designed for children, and there may be potential hazards such as stairs and steps. When staying with children, always keep a close eye on them. In the event of any damage, we may need to charge for repairs, so please be aware of this.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited inside the facility. Please bring a portable ashtray and smoke only in designated areas (such as the parking space).

Concerning Insects
As our location is surrounded by nature, you may encounter insects such as mosquitoes, ants, spiders, and small animals like geckos inside the house. We have provided mosquito repellent and insecticides for your use. We do not recommend accommodation for those who are not comfortable with insects.
Cleaning
For stays up to one week, there is no cleaning or towel/linen replacement service. We have a vacuum cleaner and a washing/drying machine available for your use.
