MIZUOTO Whole house rent

You may encounter wild animals at the "MIZUOTO" near the mountains.
It is said that there are over 47 waterfalls in the cave village where the sound of water is heard!
The village is blessed with abundant mountains, and water has been flowing continuously without drying up, even during the season of water shortage since long ago!
Typical of the Kitayama-style Kayabuki thatched roof house, the attic structure can be seen when stepping into the entrance and looking up.
Fusuma sliding door paintings depicting locomotives and houses in Miyama, where no railroad tracks run, for some reason. This is also very interesting.
The hearth decorated with tiles is used as a table together with an old-fashioned paulownia chest.
In winter, this village is located in a cold area, but inside this house is kept warm enough as there are underfloor heater settled.
In summer, you can feel cool air inside of the house as this traditional house can breeze enough. That is so nice!
