Local mushroom expert "Akihiko-san" will be your guide, teaching you how to identify mushrooms and the joys of harvesting them deep in the forest.

Not only will he explain the characteristics of the mushrooms, but also provide insights into the forest itself, making this an even more fascinating experience. It’s an activity that both children and adults can get immersed in, while enjoying nature and aiming for an abundant harvest!

After enjoying mushroom picking, return to the lodge and cook with the fresh mushrooms you’ve gathered. They are perfect for hot pot or BBQ. Nozawa Onsen Lodge offers both hot pot and BBQ options, so please consider trying them. The joy of creating a richly flavored mushroom dish, which you can’t usually experience in everyday cooking, is truly special. Savor the full flavors of autumn!

• Participation Conditions
  The tour is for participants aged elementary school and above. If preschool children wish to participate in the mushroom gathering, a fee will apply.
  One adult is required to accompany each preschool child.
  
  ・Access Information

  Transportation to the mushroom picking location will be by car. If you are coming by your own car, you can either park near the forest or meet at Nozawa Onsen Lodge for group transportation. For those using public transportation, local resident Akihiko-san may provide car transport depending on the situation. We will handle this flexibly. Further details will be provided upon confirmation of your reservation.
