This special plan is available for a limited time from late April through Golden Week, when winter slowly gives way to spring in the mountains.

Enjoy the unique contrast of the seasons — spring skiing on the remaining snow and cherry blossom viewing from our open rooftop terrace.
To make the experience even more special, guests can enjoy a private BBQ and tent sauna experience overlooking the surrounding mountains.

Our lodge itself is part of the experience.
Designed in a distinctive egg-shaped structure, the building was created to withstand the heavy snowfall typical of Nozawa Onsen without requiring roof snow removal.
Because of its unique architectural value, the lodge has been designated a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.

For the limited period when cherry blossoms bloom, we offer a special private rooftop experience, where guests can reserve the entire rooftop space for 4.5 hours.

Start by relaxing in the tent sauna, letting the heat melt away the fatigue of travel or outdoor activities.
After a refreshing cool-down, enjoy a BBQ on the open rooftop terrace, surrounded by fresh mountain air.

The feeling of deep relaxation after sauna — known in Japan as “totonoi” — naturally flows into an unforgettable dining experience.

Enjoy a relaxed BBQ featuring local ingredients from the Shinshu (Nagano) region, including carefully selected meats and seasonal vegetables.

Everything is served on our spacious terrace, where you can unwind while taking in the surrounding nature.

To add a playful touch to the experience, we also prepare:

• Seasonal fruits chilled in Nozawa’s natural spring water

• Marshmallows for roasting, perfect for guests traveling with children

【Tento Sauna】

As the snow begins to melt in April, a large tent sauna (capacity up to 5 people) appears on our open terrace.

After heating up in the sauna, cool down in a natural spring water bath sourced directly from Nozawa’s mountain springs.

The water is kept at “single-digit temperatures” (below 10°C) — a refreshing experience loved by sauna enthusiasts.

This experience is ideal for:
