Satoyama Horseback Riding Retreat (Day Trip)

After your ride, unwind on the traditional Engawa veranda.

1. Visitor Guide

You can choose between a morning or afternoon session for your horseback riding experience.

Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Riding Time: Approximately 40 minutes.

Guided Trek (Staff-led):

Up to 3 participants at a time.

Independent Riding (Experienced riders only, Staff-led on horseback):

Up to 2 participants at a time.

The tour primarily proceeds at a walk (nami-ashi) to enjoy the Satoyama scenery.

2. Course Information

This horseback riding experience takes you through the rich, natural beauty of the Satoyama countryside.

Our course allows you to fully immerse yourself in the environment—listening to the sound of hooves in the crisp morning air, smelling the greenery, and hearing the birds sing. We also stop for commemorative photos at local shrines and scenic viewpoints with breathtaking vistas.

3. Tea Time on the Veranda After Riding

We have prepared an elegant rest period following your ride.

Enjoy tea time on the Engawa (traditional veranda) of "miru.house."

Relax and find your peace with delicious sweets and tea while watching the horses graze peacefully in the field.
