Stay in a private, century-old Japanese kominka - a traditional wooden house.

Exposed timber beams, paper-screened windows (shoji), and a garden veranda (engawa) set an unhurried rhythm in Fujieda, Shizuoka’s tea country. The entire house is reserved for one group (up to 9), making it easy to cook together, talk late on tatami, and start the next morning quietly with green tea on the veranda.

This plan is lodging-only (no sauna). The focus is the house itself: soft daylight through shoji, the feel of tatami underfoot, and spaces that let everyone gather—or slip away for a moment of calm.
