Room name story

Shakuyaku (peony) became popular as an ornamental plant in the Edo period. Since beautiful peonies bloom in the East Garden every May, “Shakuyaku” has been the name of a guestroom at Ohana for long time.

Located on the corner of the second and third floors, this room offers a magnificent view of cultural assets such as the Japanese garden Shoto-en, the Western-style building, and the large hall. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the experience of "staying in a nationally designated place of scenic beauty."
