[HAKOBUNE] Hammock Knitting Plan
BUNAGAYA × Hammock Workshop • HAKOBUNE
— A 2-Day, 1-Night Retreat Where You Weave “Relaxation” with Your Own Hands —
A special treat set in a small, abandoned school in the Yanbaru region.
Presented by the lodging facility “BUNAGAYA” and the hammock workshop “HAKOBUNE,” located on the same grounds, this package lets you enjoy two full days of immersing yourself in making chair hammocks during your stay.

■ Keep your hands busy to calm your mind
Even if it’s your first time weaving a hammock, don’t worry.
Take your time and work at your own pace in the quiet classroom.
As you step away from your hectic daily life, even if just for a little while, and let your mind go blank while your hands move, your thoughts will gradually fall into place.
Why not treat yourself to this “time for crafting”?
Of course, you can take your finished hammock home with you.
One of the best parts is that you can continue using this memento of your trip long after you return home.

■ “BUNAGAYA”: A Place to Stay That Feels Like Stepping Into a Story
Spend the night at “BUNAGAYA,” a magical inn themed around “fables.”
With the warmth of a school building and a space that gently retains the atmosphere of days gone by, it feels as if you’ve wandered into a story.
While sensing the presence of “Bunagaya,” the spirit passed down in Ogimi Village,
please take some time to simply sit quietly and take a deep breath.
Even the moment you wake up in the morning to the sight of the forest spreading out beyond your window and the chirping of birds is part of this retreat.

Information About Amenities
A diverse array of living creatures coexists in the Yanbaru Forest, and we strive to operate our facility with consideration for this rich natural environment. For this reason, as a general rule, we ask that guests bring their own disposable amenities, such as toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and razors. If you absolutely need these items, please insert 100 yen into the payment box located by the sink and feel free to use them. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation in our efforts to preserve the environment.
Information About Parking
There are several parking spaces on the premises, but because the grounds are large, the distance to the building may vary depending on where you park. We ask that guests staying overnight use the parking lot in front of the gymnasium to make it easier to unload and move your luggage.
Information About Dinner
On the grounds of Kijoka Sho School, there is a restaurant called “Fukamidori” that serves dishes made with ingredients from the Yanbaru region. In addition, ・BBQ sets ・Appetizer platters and other options are available. Advance reservations are required for all of these, so if you’d like to order any of these items, please select them from the options when making your reservation. There are also several restaurants in the surrounding area. There aren’t many within the village itself, but there are a few scattered about a 15-minute drive away. Please refer to the Google Map below. ▼ Map of Nearby Restaurants https://maps.app.goo.gl/m7cSDsdbCC3PCwoJ9 If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We hope you enjoy a relaxing evening in the tranquility of Yanbaru. We look forward to seeing you. BUNAGAYA Kijoka Sho School
