Curtains

Compared to the Forest View Rooms, which face the woods, the Kawayu City View Rooms receive more direct sunlight.
On warm days — especially in summer — we recommend closing the curtains before going out to help keep the room temperature comfortable.

For the same reason, during hot seasons, the curtains may be closed prior to your check-in.

Wildlife Notice

The forest is home to a wide variety of wildlife — especially insects.
Despite having screens and closed windows, some bugs may still find their way indoors.

For your convenience, insect repellent spray and sticky traps are available in the elevator hall on each guest floor.
Please feel free to use them if needed.

In-Room Amenities

We provide only essential amenities in the guest rooms.

Due to the high acidity of the local environment, metallic items — especially electronic appliances — are prone to damage. As a result, some items may malfunction during your stay.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Important Information During Your Stay

🔑 Room Key

• The room key is a manual cylinder key (not an auto-lock system).
  Please remember to lock the door yourself every time you leave or enter the room.

💍 Valuables and Accessories

• The hot spring water in Kawayu is highly acidic, which can cause significant damage to metals.
  We recommend removing all watches, jewelry, and metal accessories before bathing.

Please store your valuables in the in-room safety box, and kindly ensure proper care and management of your key and personal belongings at all times.

To support sustainability, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following initiatives:

🧹 Room Cleaning

• For multi-night stays, daily cleaning is not provided.

• On each guest floor, you can use the shared amenities located near the elevator:

  • Separate waste bins (Please cooperate with proper waste separation.)

  • Microwave

  • Vacuum cleaner

  • Insect repellent spray
    Please return shared items promptly after use.

  • Garbage bags for individual rooms

If you need additional items, please contact the front desk.

• For long-term guests, we will perform room cleaning once a week for hygiene purposes.

💡 Energy & Water Conservation

• Our rooms are not equipped with a master power switch.
  We kindly ask you to turn off lights and appliances individually when not in use or when leaving the room.

• Tap water in guest rooms is generally safe for drinking, but due to the high acidity in the area, pipe corrosion may occur over time.
  If you are concerned, we offer 2L bottles of drinking water at the front desk for ¥100 (tax included) — available exclusively to staying guests.
