A hideaway for adults who know what is enough

When I found this traditional house, I imagined that I would be able to relax and unwind in a place like this, and that I would be able to share a place where I could make me feel calm from the bottom of my heart with everyone.
Here is an inn where adults who work hard every day can spend time doing your own thing.

The Nagahama area where our inn is located is one of the few areas in Fujikawaguchiko Town where you can't see Mt. Fuji, but it is a quiet and relaxing place to stay.
We named it ''Torch'' because we wanted to create a small light between these mountains where people could gather.

Wood was used as scaffolding at construction sites. Now it serves as a signboard, watching over the inn.

Doma Entrance

The entrance to the inn is a large dirt floor.
The lower part of the stile that leads to the living room is a storage space, and in the past it was used as a place to store work tools and agricultural tools.
It doesn't trap heat easily, so it's a good idea to sit on the raised stile in the summer and feel the breeze blowing through the front door.

Kitchen

There is a kitchenette for guests in front of the entrance.
We have a complete set of basic cooking utensils, plates, and cutlery, so please feel free to use them.

Living & Dining

The first floor of the old folk house is an open space where all the rooms are connected by opening the shoji doors.
You can enjoy the spending four seasons by cooling off on the porch in the summer or relaxing and warming up in the winter.

Tatami room

The Japanese-style room on the second floor is a bedroom. In rooms with tatami mats, I think it's better to have a low view from ancient Japan, so all bedding is futons.

The inn has low beams and steep stairs, giving it a nostalgic feel from a long time ago, so you have to be a little careful.
It's nice to have a comfortable place to spend your time, but sometimes small inconveniences can make you fall in love with it.
