“Hospitality at the Tea Salon”
Upon your arrival, we will welcome you with matcha and traditional sweets from Iida, served in the tea salon on the first floor. We invite you to begin your journey by enjoying a moment of relaxation and the unique flavors of this region. (A selection from our regular tea salon menu will also be available.)

For guests who wish, we can also offer a live “temae” demonstration, where matcha is prepared and served right in front of you. Please feel free to let us know at the time of booking. (Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on the date and time.)

“Dinner Information”
At Tokinoma, dinner is not included in your stay.
Instead, there are many locally owned restaurants in the surrounding area, each offering the charm and flavors of the region. We invite you to enjoy seasonal cuisine and the evening atmosphere of Iida as you discover your favorite dining spots. Should you wish, we would be happy to recommend restaurants or assist you with reservations.
“Breakfast Included” – Our Popular Semi-Self Steamed Seiro Breakfast
For breakfast, we offer a popular semi-self service seiro-steamed meal featuring rice balls made with locally grown rice, along with miso soup, pickles, and seasonal local fruit.
Enjoy the gentle steam rising from the steamer and the aroma of freshly cooked rice as you take in a peaceful and relaxing morning.
“Free Stay for Guests Aged 15 and Under” – Includes Tea Salon Access, Breakfast, and Amenities
With the hope that children can enjoy many new experiences and that families can make the most of their time traveling together, we offer complimentary accommodation for guests aged 15 and under.
We believe that the scenery, experiences, and time spent together as a family during your journey will become truly irreplaceable memories.
“So Glad to Have Met Iida”
We hope that this inn is not simply a place to stay, but a gateway to discovering the city of Iida itself.
The townscape that changes with each season, the rhythms of daily life, and the culture and landscapes passed down through generations—by experiencing each of these, we hope you will find your own special moments of travel.
In this exclusive space, limited to one group per day, we invite you to spend unhurried time in Iida together with your family and loved ones, and to enjoy the gentle flow of time that this place offers.
