The tables, shelves, and other furniture were carefully chosen from antique shops.
Their aged wood, both delicate and strong, holds a quiet, timeless charm.

Suspended at the heart of the room is a cube-shaped, six-sided speaker.
Enjoy music as it gently fills the space from above.

Lie back on the floor and look upat the ceiling and its round lights.
There is something wonderfully spacious about this view—
a scene that makes you want to let your thoughts drift away.
Each tea cup has its own unique texture,
while the glasses are made of fine, thin glass for a smooth, delicate feel on the lips.

| KORE's Story |

This house was built by a local carpenter in Asakusa about 60 years ago.

Originally, it has three-story structure, but remodeled into atrium-shaped design,

removing the ceiling of 2 & 3 floors.

It made a spacious room, naturally lifting the attention upward.

The roof windows broadly installed over the roof let the changing face of daylight in as the time passes.

At the same time, the round Japanese lanterns, appearing to be floating

in the space brings you the serene feeling of the moment.

The floors and walls have the texture of Japanese lacquer and mud walls, which brings a sense of serenity.

Perhaps, the most appealing point should be the sturdy structure of the columns and beams,

upcycled after reinforcement.

Additionally, the materials such as shiny stainless steels and tiles installed

in the new facilities serve as the accent to the room.

The space which blends nostalgia and modernity,

surely comforts you and makes you cozy during your stay in Kore.
