Opening Mid-October to Early November 2026
A Small Mountain Village Painted by the Four Seasons — Toga, Nanto, Toyama
Nestled among mountains rising over 1,000 meters, Toga is a small village in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture.
Home to around 400 people, this quiet mountain community is a place where beautiful seasonal landscapes and a peaceful way of life, passed down through generations, still remain.
Spring — As the snow melts, wild mountain vegetables begin to emerge.
Summer — The crystal-clear waters of the Momose River and cool mountain breezes bring a sense of calm.
Autumn — The mountains glow with autumn colors, accompanied by the aroma of freshly harvested soba.
Winter — The village is wrapped in silence beneath nearly three meters of snow.
Time spent here is something special — a chance to slow down and reconnect with nature.

Are There Insects?
Our inn is located in a peaceful mountain village surrounded by abundant nature. To ensure that our guests have a comfortable stay, we carry out regular cleaning and pest control measures. However, depending on the season, you may occasionally encounter insects. In particular: From late July to around the Obon holiday in mid-August, horseflies are more commonly seen. Around May and October, stink bugs tend to appear more frequently. While we do our best to minimize their presence, we kindly ask for your understanding that this is part of staying in a lodge nestled within Toga's rich natural environment. We hope you will embrace the unique charm of the countryside and enjoy the changing seasons and the beauty of nature that make Toga such a special place.

There are no convenience stores or large supermarkets in the Toga area. The only shop within the village is Toga Store (Michi-no-Eki Toga). Opening Hours Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Weekends and holidays: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM As shopping is not available outside these hours, we recommend purchasing any drinks, snacks, or daily necessities in advance in Tonami City, Nanto City, or other nearby urban areas before traveling to Toga. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and unique charm of this mountain village.
