Common de -Hostel & Bar- is a hostel and bar designed for the "new local."
We created this hostel with the culture of "Komondo," an area with strong roots in craftsmanship and the traditional Japanese Yamakasa Festival, in mind.
Through events and various projects, Common de -Hostel & Bar- we've taken that culture and created a new one you can enjoy during your stay.
About our New Fukuoka, New Hakata concept.
We guarantee that Common de -Hostel & Bar- will help you see a new side of Fukuoka.
At our 5th floor bar Kōeigiku (also open to the public) you can enjoy food and drinks made by various local chefs and bartenders.
Inside the Yamakasa Building, which is shaped after the building used to store the shrines made for the traditonal Yamakasa festival, Common de -Hostel & Bar- aims to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The fifth floor lounge, previously used as a photo studio, has beautiful lighting creating a wonderful space for relaxing, working, or chatting with new friends.
In keeping with our theme of the "new local," the lanterns as well as various furniture throughout the hotel has ties to the greater Fukuoka area as well as items brought in from sake breweries.
We invite you to come and find your Fukuoka at Common de -Hostel & Bar-.
