"Tsukanoma" means momentary in Japanese.
Tukanoma is a villa where we cherish every moment you spend.
Let's take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Enjoy the luxury of a vacation rental.

It was 400 years ago. In the past, there was a palace where the lord of Matsumoto Castle stayed when he took a hot-spring cure.
As a descendant of the lord, “Oyado Ishikawa” served as the manager.
However, at the end of the Taisho period (1912-1926), a huge fire destroyed the entire area, leaving only this storehouse as a reminder of the old days.
The interior, which retains the beams and pillars of the past and the texture of the earthen walls, is serene and quiet, yet still evokes the life of the people who lived in this area.
The “KoTemari” is an inn where you can stay in the “memory” of the Matsumoto han (feudal domain), which has passed down 400 years of history to the present day.

Open sweeping windows and clean white-based interior.
The wooden deck and BBQ space allow you to enjoy meals with your family and friends while feeling the nature.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven and refrigerator, allowing you to prepare your own meals.
The cottage is also equipped with a bathroom and laundry facilities, making it possible to stay for a long time.

Your stay includes a 90-minute reserved slot in the private sauna/ hot spring. (You may also enter at any other time, if available.)
The sauna is Finnish style and you can adjust the temperature yourself.
The sauna is located outdoors, so please wear a bathing suit.
Swimsuits can be rented at the lobby of “Oyado Ishikawa”.

The hot spring at this villa is natural hot spring flowing directly from the source.
The hot spring water is smooth to the touch, leaving the skin refreshed and beautiful. The lukewarm water temperature may make you end up taking a long hot bath.
