Built at the end of the Meiji era, this is one of the two tenement houses.
There are three rooms, the entrance hall, the wooden floor, and the Japanese-style room, which are wrapped in the warm texture of the clay walls.
It has a floor plan, lined up vertically toward the courtyard.
The signs of people coming and going and the sounds of the town come through the lattice of the front.
You can enjoy living with lattices that create the scenery of Naramachi.
There is a sunken study space facing the courtyard, where you can relax by the window.
Although it is compact, it is a Machiya where you can fully enjoy Machiya living.

The accommodation fee is a little cheaper than other Machiya because it is more compact.
Accommodation for one person: 1 person charge for 2 to 3 people + 10,000 yen (+ tax)
Accommodation for 2 or more people: 1,100 yen discount per person

1. Machiya are historical structures with low ceilings.
As such, we ask our guests to be cautious to avoid unnecessary accidents or injuries.
2. Machiya, as part of the local residential community,
reserves the right to refuse reservations or terminate accommodations of guests who engage in behavior
and activities potentially disruptive and unwelcome to the residents of the neighbouring homes.
3. Machiya only welcomes guests age 12 and older.
4. Guests are responsible for any damages- internal or external - they cause.
5. For fire safety reasons, Machiya is a strictly non-smoking establishment.
And given the historical wooden architecture, any use of fire is prohibited (which includes cooking).
6. There are no dining facilities on premise, and only breakfast (included in the cost) is provided.
