With this “floating” concept in mind, we came up with the name “DENIM HOSTEL float.”
Cozy Interior Wrapped in Denim Fabric
The “Asagi” room has denim fabric applied to the interior such as fusuma (sliding doors) and tatami edges, and is named after the light indigo color Asagi, which is reflected in the room’s tone.
Depending on the season, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset from either your room or the beach, which is within walking distance.
Enjoy Lasagna made with Setouchi Ingredients
Lasagna “Half Wagyu Beef, Half Shrimp”
In DENIM HOSTEL float, you can dine at the restaurant “pile”, famous for their lasagna with homemade pasta sheets and natural wine.
A lasagna made with homemade pasta sheets using 100% Okayama-grown wheat, featuring a bolognese sauce of slow-simmered wagyu beef, red wine, and tomatoes, combined with rich and creamy gara shrimp sauce.
Original focaccia made from wheat, seasonal potage, natural wine and craft beers are also available.
On weekends, we invite you to try the casual course meal.

Our shared bathroom features a spacious bathtub and three shower stations.

Is there a restaurant inside the facility?
Yes, there is an on-site restaurant called “pile” where you can enjoy lasagna made with local ingredients and natural wine. For details on the menu, please check our instagram account. About café “pile” Opening Hours: 12:00 to 20:30 (Last Order at 20:00) ※Closed to public on Mondays and Tuesdays, but available everyday for in-house guests.
Is there a bath & shower inside the room?
There is no bath in each guest room. Available time: from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the following day, 50 minutes per couple Available reservation slots 1) from 4:00 p.m. / 2) from 5:00 p.m. / 3) from 6:00 p.m. / 4) from 7:00 p.m. / 5) from 8:00 p.m. *After 9:00 p.m., you can use the room without a reservation. Reservation method: Please make a reservation through the website below or upon check-in. https://www.denimhostelfloat.com/en/private-bath The baths at our hostel are reserved for private use, and guests are welcome to bathe with other guests. If you are staying for consecutive nights, please apply for the number of days you wish to stay. Please note that we will be cleaning from 9am to 1pm.
Is it a non-smoking facility?
Yes, all rooms are non-smoking but we do have a smoking area outdoors.
Can we check-in after 21:00?
Our standard check-in time is between 16:00 and 21:00. If you wish to check-in after 21:00, an additional fee will be charged (up to a maximum of 9,000 yen). For check-in after 22:00, we will provide instructions for a remote check-in. The latest check-in time is 24:00. An extra charge of 3,000 yen applies after 21:00. After 22:00, an additional 1,500 yen will be incurred every 30 minutes.
