Comfortable lounge in this town
People commute to work or school from here, or work remotely from their rooms. This is also where you will meet your neighbors, staff, overnight guests, and many other people.

The cafe-bar and lounge on the first floor is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cafe is also open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays, serving lunch by the daily proprietor.
Some days we play a friendly game of cards with friends over take-out pizza from a nearby restaurant, while other nights we quietly work on our own projects. If you feel the urge to exercise, join us for one of our irregular "NINI Runs" through the streets of Kyoto.

Comfortable facilities for long-term stays
The kitchen is fully equipped with basic cooking utensils, seasonings, and tableware. You can easily prepare your own meals simply by procuring ingredients.
The vegetable market in front of Kumano Shrine, a five-minute walk from NINIROOM, is a favorite of ours. Buying and cooking with local ingredients that we have never seen before is one of the joys of staying here for an extended period of time.
A 5-minute walk to the Kamo River. Feel the harmony of people, culture, and nature.
NINIROOM is located in the Okazaki area, within walking distance from central Kawaramachi and Gion, yet rich in nature, including the Kamo River, which changes color with each season.
The area is dotted with historical temples and shrines such as Heian Shrine and Nanzenji Temple, as well as many universities and art museums, and stores rich in individuality that blend in with the long-established lifestyle of the people.
Kyoto Kyocera Museum of Art. It is also illuminated at night depending on the season.
Founded in 1919, Sakurayu attracts people who live in this town. There is a water tank in the bathroom with carp swimming in it, and nostalgic songs are played in the steam sauna... 10 minutes walk from NINIROOM.
It might be a good idea to wander out with "NINI's Neighborhood Walk Book" in hand, which is a collection of our favorite places. By the time a month passes, this is already your town.
