Room 波月（Namitsuki）In summer, you can see the sugar cane field spread out in the back of the garden.
mui consists of 4 rooms that are independent from each other. Each room has 2 floors and a garden in the back. The facilities of each room are almost the same, but the landscape of the garden and the design of the bedrooms vary slightly.
Kitchen counter made of Ryukyu limestone
The first floor, with large windows, is the dining kitchen space, equipped with 2 induction stoves, a refrigerator and other cooking utensils. The spacious kitchen counter is made of Ryukyu limestone.
Beautiful and ergonomic tableware is available in the cupboard. They are from "nakamurakenoshigoto", a studio in Nanjo City. We encourage you to purchase local ingredients from the nearby market and enjoy cooking with local produce.
Chair by KENSAKU OSHIRO (ELSA)
The lounge chair in the room is designed by KENSAKU OSHIRO, an Okinawan who is now based in Milan. The soft leather is upholstered beautifully without a single wrinkle and is so comfortable that it captivates anyone who sits on it. While blending in naturally with the room, it has an appealing and striking presence.
Two stories with high ceiling
The guest room is two-stories high with an atrium. You can enjoy the incredible sound quality of the music that resonates inside the open ceiling room. You can place the cordless Bluetooth speaker equipped in the room wherever you like, from your bedside or to the table to enjoy your favorite music. *Please note that there is no TV in the rooms.
Skylight bathroom
The second floor has a bedroom and a bathroom with a Goemon bath (iron kettle-shaped bathtub). You can open the skylight and feel the connection with the outside while you bathe. Relax while looking at the passing clouds, the night sky and raindrops.
The bathroom is not completely separated by a wall for the light from the skylight to come into the entire room and eliminate spatial separation. The hooks for the shower curtain are also made slightly longer with copper, so that even when the curtain is closed, it leaves a delicate little extra space.
Warm glow
Two spacious double beds, mattresses with Japanese-made pocket coils, down quilts tailored to the Okinawan climate, and soft double gauze sheets made of 100% cotton made by the Japanese traditional process called "wazarashi'' will comfortably wrap your body.
There are no windows on the second floor except for the skylight, creating a sense of quietness as if you are hiding in an attic. Bedside bracket lights made of copper induce a warm and peaceful sleep.
Just like you live here
Although not shown in the photos, a washing machine and dryer are available in each room. You can also wash your bathing suit after playing in the ocean. Please enjoy your time here as long as you wish, just as though you live here.
Enjoy mui's specialty drip coffees and craft beers from Okinawa while sitting on a lounge chair designed by Kensaku Oshiro.

Children are not allowed to stay in this room. *Children can stay only in Room 青星(Aohoshi) (which has a tatami room on the second floor where two sets of double-sized futons can be laid out).
To be environmentally friendly, we do not provide disposable amenities (toothbrushes, combs, shower caps, shaving razors, etc.). Also we do not provide robes. Please bring your own if needed.
For the same reason as above, we do not change linens during your stay. However, for long-term guests, we will take your preference at the time of check-in and exchange linens upon your request.

Can we leave early in the morning?
You can check out early in the morning. If you wish to check out before 8am, please let us know in advance.
Can you store our luggage before or after check-in?
We can hold your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Please keep any valuables with you. As there may be times when we are away from the property, please be sure to contact us in advance if you would like to leave your luggage.
Can we stay with children?
Small children can only stay at Aohoshi. There is no additional charge for bed-sharing for children (from 0 to 1 years old), but an additional charge of 3,000 JPY will be charged for the addition of a single futon. Please note that payment can only be made locally. (*Credit card payment accepted)
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, pets are not allowed.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not permitted inside our facilities. Smoking areas are available outside. Please only smoke in the designated areas.
Is parking available?
One parking space per group is available. *We recommend using Google Maps for directions since mui is not registered in the car navigation system.

Check-in time
Check-in time is from 15:00 to 22:00. but From 17:00 to 20:00, basically if there is no check-in time specified, we will be absent.If there are any changes from the scheduled check-in time given at the time of your reservation, we would appreciate it if you could let us know in advance. Check-in after 22:00 is generally not accepted. If you have unavoidable circumstances, please contact us in advance. Our lodge is run by a small number of people, so we appreciate your cooperation.

Recommended places and shops around mui are posted on our website, so please take a look. https://mui.okinawa/around-mui/ Also, there are no supermarkets or convenience stores within walking distance. If you come by taxi or bus, we recommend that you procure it on the way. Please feel free to contact us if you need help.
Precautions when staying with children
mui is not a lodge designed for children, so there are steps and stairs that are dangerous for small children. Please keep an eye on your children when staying with them. In addition, works by creators, custom-made furniture and designer chairs by craftsmen are all works that we want to use for a long time. Please handle with care as we may charge you for any damages.
Cancellations Due to Typhoons or Severe Weather
If your scheduled flight on the day before, the day of, or the day after your stay (3-day window) is officially cancelled by the airline due to a typhoon or other severe weather, we will waive the cancellation fee. Please present documentation or a screenshot confirming the flight cancellation at the time. For cancellations due to other reasons, our standard cancellation policy will apply.
Breakfast & Optional Items
If you would like to have breakfast, please let us know by the evening of the previous day. Please note that some breakfast options may not be available on the day of, so if you have a preference, we recommend selecting it as an option at the time of booking. Other optional items can also be ordered on the day, depending on availability. However, please note that we may not be able to provide certain items due to stock shortages or preparation requirements. Thank you for your understanding.
Early Check-in (with extra charge)
Early check-in is available from 14:00, one hour earlier than usual, only with prior notice. An additional fee of 2,000 JPY will be charged.
