Arrival: Please check in at LOQUAT Nishi-Izu Main Building. A private vehicle will escort you to Villa SUGURO.

About LOQUAT Villa SUGURO

LOQUAT Villa SUGURO is an exclusive detached villa reserved for only one group per day.

Located in the peaceful village of Ko-Toi, this 100-year-old traditional Japanese home has been beautifully renovated into LOQUAT’s largest suite, spanning over 180 square meters. The villa features a private open-air bath and terrace with views of the Izu mountains, and from the loft, you can watch the sun set over Suruga Bay.

With two independent bedrooms and a spacious living area, this villa offers a serene and luxurious escape.

3:00PM – Check-in at the Main Building
Please park your vehicle in the guest-only parking area and proceed to the main building for check-in.

3:10PM – Welcome Gelato at Bake & Gelato SANTi

Enjoy a seasonal welcome treat at Bake & Gelato SANTi, where we craft our gelato using only the finest ingredients sourced from trusted local producers.

We are committed to creating gelato you can enjoy with peace of mind—free from preservatives, artificial flavors, and colorings. Our dedication to natural, honest ingredients ensures a delicious experience you can truly feel good about.

3:30PM – Departure for the Private Villa by Chauffeured Limousine (Complimentary Transfer)

Your private villa awaits—just a 3-minute drive from the LOQUAT main building.

Relax and enjoy the scenic ride as you take in the serene beauty of Izu’s coastline and mountains on either side. The journey itself is part of the experience.

3:30 PM – Arrival at LOQUAT Villa SUGURO

Upon arriving at your private villa, you’ll walk through a charming stone path that opens into a serene courtyard and your exclusive suite.

The garden reflects the unique scenery of Toi, where the silhouettes of mountains rise beyond Suruga Bay, blending sea and land into a picturesque harmony. At the center of the garden, a 4-ton stone—symbolizing a boat floating in the bay—anchors the landscape and can be admired from your room.

4:00 PM – Hammam Bath (Loquat Leaf Steam Therapy)

Relax in a bed-style steam sauna using locally harvested white loquat leaves, a specialty of Toi. The leaves come straight from LOQUAT’s backyard garden. You’re welcome to enjoy this therapeutic experience as many times as you wish during your stay.

5:00 PM – Unwind in the Open-Air Onsen Bath

Soak in a spacious open-air bath filled with natural Toi hot spring water. Surrounded by greenery and nature’s sounds, you can enjoy both the tranquil morning light and the calming evening ambiance.

6:00 PM – In-Room Private Dinner

A truly private and luxurious dining experience, just for you.

Our executive chef will visit your suite and prepare your custom course right before your eyes. From the behind-the-scenes craftsmanship to the finishing touches on each dish, you’ll witness the dedication and artistry up close.

Enjoy seasonal dishes presented at a specially prepared counter, where the vibrant colors of the ingredients and the delicate culinary techniques come together in harmony. Let the chef’s passion and stories behind each dish enhance your dining experience, engaging all five senses.

10:00 PM – Nighttime Bath Under the Illuminated Garden

Take another soak in the open-air bath while admiring the softly lit seasonal garden. A peaceful way to wind down your evening.

11:00 PM – Restful Sleep

Drift into deep sleep on Simmons twin beds (semi-double size), chosen for maximum comfort. Enjoy the view of the tranquil garden as you unwind and recharge.

8:00 AM – Morning Bath with Birdsongs

Begin your day with a refreshing bath accompanied by the sounds of nature. Enjoy a different atmosphere from the night before, as the morning light brings a new calm.

11:30 AM – Optional Brunch with Gourmet Italian Full-Course Lunch

After checkout, extend your stay with an optional Italian-style brunch.

Please note: By default, a Japanese breakfast is served in your room. However, you can opt for the brunch course at 11:30 AM (subject to availability and restaurant schedule). On LOQUAT Nishi-Izu’s lunch holidays, brunch is not available.

The full-course brunch showcases seasonal local ingredients—fresh seafood, vibrant vegetables and fruits—all prepared in elegant Italian style. Every visit offers new culinary discoveries and delightful surprises.
