About Private-to-Public Openings

Normally, these units are reserved for private use. However, if we have availability approximately one to two weeks in advance, we switch them to Private-to-Public Openings and offer them to you!

We announce these openings and the latest information on The Sauna's Instagram account (@the_sauna_nojiriko). We encourage you to give us a follow!

Please Note: The pricing structure is explained later in the document. We kindly ask you to read through to the end for all the details.

Three Distinct Saunas to Choose From

Unit 3: Kolme

The seating is crafted from a single, large piece of reclaimed wood, large enough to lie down on, and designed in a U-shape so you can enjoy Löyly (steam) at your preferred height and position. Rumor has it that Tonttu, the sauna elf who protects the sauna, resides in this unit...

These twin saunas have an asymmetrical design.

Unit 4: Neljä

The sauna space is surrounded by a patchwork of reclaimed wood, creating a truly private and enclosed feel. We have also prepared a dedicated cold bath filled with pumped underground water, which is even safe to drink!

Please enjoy this sauna to the fullest with your loved ones and friends.

These twin saunas have an asymmetrical design.

Unit 5: Viisi

This sauna is packed with all the knowledge and expertise we've gained from building our previous saunas. It is designed to be even closer to an authentic "Finnish" sauna experience, allowing you to enjoy Löyly even more.

The cold bath is modeled after a "Spring/Source" and offers two types: a deep bath and a shallow bath. The outdoor cooling area features a "Sound Shelter" so you can relax while fully immersing yourself in the sounds of nature.

Drinkable Underground Water Cold Baths

Each unit has its own dedicated cold bath.

【Important Note】 The barrel cold bath for Units 1 and 2 is not available for use with these units.

Units 3 & 4: Kolme / Neljä

A comfortably sized cold bath. The tile design is an homage to the long-established "Oogaki Sauna."

Filled with drinkable underground water.

Unit 5: Viisi

Modeled after a rocky natural spring. It offers two types: a deep bath and a shallow, wide bath.

• The deep bath is 130 cm in depth.

• The shallow, wide bath is spacious enough for you to fully stretch out and relax.

Public Style Pricing & Time Slots

When booking in the Public Style, the price is per person, and you will share the sauna experience with other guests.

• Maximum capacity per slot is 6 guests.

• Maximum group size per booking is 4 people.

• If your group has 5 or more people, it may be possible to switch to a private booking. Please call us to inquire: TEL: 026-258-2978.

Important Usage Note:

The 3 hours includes your time in the sauna; it does not include changing time.

Please aim to arrive about 10 minutes before your session to be guided to the changing room.

We kindly request your cooperation in completing your changing within about 10 minutes after your session ends.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations made close to the booking date, the following fees will be charged per group:

• 1 Day Prior: 50% of the total fee

• Same Day: 100% of the total fee

Please note that cancellation fees will also apply if you change the date within the periods listed above.
