About Guesthouse WAZAKURA

Young creators renovated a 200-year-old purely Japanese building in a stylish, contemporary style!　A long-established inn that flourished from the Edo period to the Showa period as ‘Daifukuya’ has been revived with a new look.

It is located along the Ise Kaido Road, from Osaka and Kyoto to Ise Jingu Shrine.　Close to Sakurai Station, with many restaurants and shops, and ideal access for sightseeing in Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara.

Electric bicycles are available for guests to rent, allowing them to enjoy a fulfilling trip to nearby Ohmiwa Shrine, Abe Monju-in Temple, Hase Temple, Asuka, Kashihara Shrine, and Kofun (ancient burial mounds).

"Whole house charter" for 1-18 persons -small children are welcome.

The capsule bedroom like the secret base is very popular with children! The best thing about renting out the whole house is that you can play as your villa!

Please feel free to use it for groups, camps, birthday parties, anniversaries, graduation trips, etc!

'Tsukikage' the 8-tatami mat Japanese-style room, 'Sakura' the 6-tatami mat Japanese-style room, and 'Manyo' the four capsule rooms are all included, as well as a 20-tatami mat multi-purpose room for telework meetings and parties, and a mini-kitchen can also be freely used for private hire.

There is a separate classical modern rental space on the ground floor with a ceiling height of 2.7m and 80m2 of all-flooring. (Available as an option).

"Tsukikage" 8-tatami mat Japanese-style room for 1-4 persons with private room key

Pure Japanese-style lockable private rooms with an alcove. The Room faces the Ise Kaido with four Japanese sliding doors on the south-facing open window. Four sliding door paintings with fantastic moon shadows and a carved ranma above.

On the alcove is the Heart Sutra written in gold characters. It is a spiritual space.

"Sakura" 6-tatami mat Japanese-style room for 1-3 persons with private room key

Soft natural light enters through the cherry blossom shoji screens in the ceiling windows, and cherry blossoms in full bloom are depicted on four sliding door panels, with a carved transom above. Cute cherry blossoms at the entrance welcome you.

"Manyo" 4 private capsule rooms with key (1 double bed size per person)

The entrance and exit are equipped with a lockable door. It is a relaxing space like being wrapped up in a cocoon. (*Open when the whole house charter is reserved for private use, and very popular with small children, who think of it as a secret base.)

Capsule rooms with double beds for a spacious and comfortable stay. The private rooms are equipped with reading lights, ventilation fans, interior lighting, luggage shelves, sockets, and hangers.
