SANSUI is nestled within Akan-Mashu National Park in Eastern Hokkaido. Surrounded by untouched forests and a rare ecosystem of plants and wildlife, it offers an extraordinary natural setting. Despite its remote beauty, SANSUI is conveniently located just about a one-hour drive from Memanbetsu Airport.

100% Natural Hot Spring Onsen

Our baths feature pure, free-flowing hot spring water sourced directly from the spring. Known as “Crystal Onsen” for its remarkable clarity, the water is smooth and mineral-rich. Immersing yourself in these healing waters while gazing at the ever-changing scenery is an experience that gently embraces both body and mind.

Sauna (available only in the Nukumori Villa)

At the Nukumori Villa, guests can enjoy a wood-burning sauna by HARVIA, which you fire up yourself for a truly authentic experience. Soothe your senses with “Healing with Heat” while overlooking the lake. A cold-water bath is available, or you may take a refreshing dip directly in the lake—an unforgettable moment unique to SANSUI.

Please note: the Migiwa Villa does not include a sauna.

Right in front of the villas lies Lake Kussharo, where you can enjoy activities such as SUP, fishing, and canoeing.

The Nukumori Villa provides canoes, while the Migiwa Villa offers a wide range of equipment including canoes, kayaks, SUP boards, and bicycles. Immerse yourself in the richness of Hokkaido’s great outdoors.
