Nice to meet you. My name is Suiryu.

Suiryu is a unique inn that is a 50-year-old private house that has been completely renovated with a fusion of Japanese and Western style.

We named it ``Suiryu'' after the dragon legend that has been passed down in Enoshima since ancient times.

The living room and Japanese-style room have a retro design, while the dining kitchen and Western-style room have a modern and cute design. It has been very well received by guests from Japan and overseas, with many saying, ``I wish I had stayed longer!'' ``It was comfortable and easy to stay, and I felt like I was at home!''

It is in a flat location, about a 10 minute walk from Katase Enoshima Station on the Odakyu Enoshima Line and Shonan Kaigan Koen Station on the Enoden Line, and a 4 minute walk to the beach. There are also stylish cafes and the Enoshima Aquarium right around the inn.

There is also a supermarket called Odakyu OX, which is a 3-minute walk away, so it is convenient for buying ingredients.

The popular tourist spot, Kamakura High School Station, is only 2.5km from the inn. You can arrive in less than 10 minutes by car. In addition, it is easy to access not only Enoshima but also Fujisawa, Kamakura, and Yokohama, so it is easy to go anywhere and is perfect for long-term stays.

An inn built for guests with small children.

The Suiryu was originally created for guests with small children while I was pregnant with my second daughter.

Among the people visiting the Enoshima area, there are many families with small children, but I realized that there were very few accommodations in the area where such people could stay comfortably, so I decided, ''If that's the case, I'll create one!'' and it all started. The completely renovated room was originally made of plaster, so wallpaper couldn't be pasted on it, so I thought it would be nice to have some taste, and I remember the days when I used to paint the room while things were still moving around in my stomach.

Guests with small children tend to carry a lot of luggage, but in order to minimize their luggage and enjoy a comfortable stay at the inn, we have prepared necessary items such as bath goods, cribs, baby bottle sterilization cases, tableware, etc.

We also have baby gates for the stairs, playpens and toys that allow your child to concentrate on playing, and high chairs that make it easy for them to eat. Of course, we also have trash cans for wipes and diapers.

To prevent children from falling out of the windows, we have installed fall prevention fences and window stoppers on the windows on the second floor. Electric shock prevention covers are also installed on electrical outlets.

Many of our guests are staying at Suiryu for the first time with their babies, and we have received many happy comments such as ``They felt safe staying there'' and ``The children said they had more fun playing with the toys at the inn than going anywhere else.''

As the number of repeat guests is increasing, we are upgrading the toys at the inn every time so that the children do not get bored.
