Kawayu Onsen is known for its strongly acidic hot spring water, often said to be capable of dissolving an iron nail within a week.
This unique quality may cause visible corrosion to certain facilities within the bath area.
In addition, electronic appliances may have shorter lifespans (1–2 years), and some bath amenities may occasionally malfunction without warning.
We ask for your understanding regarding these natural effects of the water.About Insects
Our signature open-air bath with a view of the national forest is located directly next to natural woodland.
As a result, insects may occasionally enter the bathing area, especially outdoors.
We provide a net for guests to remove insects from the bath if needed. If you are particularly sensitive to insects, we kindly ask for your understanding that bathing may not be suitable during certain conditions.
