Boutique hotel “mont” opens in Nozawa Onsen Village, renowned as a winter ski resort.
Renovated from a century-old inn standing in the village center, the space cherishes the essence of Nozawa—its traditional fire festivals and hot spring culture—while blending contemporary sensibilities in food, drink, and design. Serving as a cultural hub connecting the village's memories to the future while enjoying the charm of each season, it will open on January 19, 2026.
The concept centers on
two elements symbolizing Nozawa Onsen:
“Fire” (the traditional fire festival “Dosojin Matsuri”) and
“Water” (hot springs, snow, and spring water).
We have incorporated these contrasting energies, the source of life, into our design and services. Experience the unique strength and warmth of Nozawa Onsen through offerings like a restaurant featuring seasonal local ingredients cooked over wood-fired stoves and a room bar where you can savor the village's craft gin.

【About child price】
Children aged 6 to 11 stay at 70% off the standard rate at our hotel. Please note that we do not accommodate children aged 0 to 5. Additionally, if the number of guests does not meet the room capacity, children aged 6 to 11 will be charged the adult rate.
【About Breakfast】
Breakfast is served on a time-slot basis from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM (last order at 9:00 AM).
【About Transportation】
To reach our inn, take the Nozawa Onsen Liner from the nearest Shinkansen station, Iiyama Station. After getting off at the final stop, it's a 1-2 minute walk to our location. If arriving by car, please contact us directly.
