About Our Restaurant
Our restaurant schedule and dining program for the 2026/27 winter season are currently being finalized.
This year, we are preparing an even more refined wood-fire dining experience than last season.
Dinner reservations are expected to open in autumn 2026. Further details will be shared with guests after booking.
Winter at mont
Spend a peaceful winter surrounded by snow, fire, and the culture of Nozawa Onsen.
Located in the heart of the village, mont is a boutique hotel designed to offer a gentle escape from everyday life while connecting guests with nature and the local way of living.
Stroll through the historic hot spring streets, visit the village’s 13 traditional public baths, and take in the beautiful winter scenery of northern Nagano.

Our guest rooms intentionally do not include televisions or clocks.
Instead, we invite you to enjoy the changing light through the windows, the scent of firewood, and the gentle rhythm of village life.

About Nozawa Onsen
Thirteen traditional public hot springs, known as soto-yu, are scattered throughout the village and carefully maintained by the local community.
Walk through the steam-filled alleys and experience the unique culture and way of life that make Nozawa Onsen so special.

Parking
Please note that mont does not have private on-site parking.
Public parking facilities are available within walking distance. Detailed information will be provided prior to your arrival.
Hot Springs
Please note that there are no hot spring baths within the hotel itself.
However, several traditional public hot springs are located within a one-minute walk, allowing you to enjoy Nozawa Onsen’s unique bathing culture.
We invite you to experience a stay that feels connected to the everyday life of the village.
Dietary Restrictions & Allergies
If you have any dietary requirements, including food allergies, vegan, pescatarian, or gluten-free requests, please inform us in advance.
Due to our location in a mountain village, we may not be able to accommodate requests made upon arrival. Depending on the nature of the request, certain dietary accommodations may not be possible.

【About child price】
Children aged 6 to 11 stay at 60% off the standard rate at our hotel. Please note that we do not accommodate children aged 0 to 5.
【About Breakfast】
Breakfast is served in timed seating. April to November: 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM (Last order: 9:00 AM) December to March: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Last order: 8:30 AM) Please select your preferred breakfast time upon check-in.
【About Dinner】

【About Hot Spring】
Our hotel does not have its own hot spring. Each room is equipped with a shower, and we provide a public bath set so that you can enjoy the seven public baths located within a 5-minute walk. We hope you’ll enjoy the public bath culture of Nozawa Onsen.
【About Transportation】
To reach our inn, take the Nozawa Onsen Liner from the nearest Shinkansen station, Iiyama Station. After getting off at the final stop, it's a 1-2 minute walk to our location. If arriving by car, please contact us directly.
【About Parking】
We do not have a parking lot on the premises. We kindly ask that you park at the nearby village-operated parking lot. You may pull up in front of the building to unload your luggage, and we will direct you to the parking lot.
【About lodging tax】
Starting in June of Reiwa 8, Nozawa Onsen Village will begin collecting its own lodging tax. We kindly ask that you settle this fee at check-in.
