The word "perus" is a Finnish word meaning "basic" or "elementary. We place importance on "making the most of the goodness of the ingredients" and "the basics" of the cyclical nature.
We are working daily to create a restaurant that coexists with nature, where we not only think about how to select environmentally friendly ingredients and how to arrange by-products from the cooking process, but also think about what comes after the food is consumed.

The "EN NICHI BA" art festival is scheduled to be held again in the spring of 2024.
. Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1991. After graduating from a culinary school, he worked as a chef in Tokyo. He was attracted to the authentic wine culture during his training in France, and became a service person after working as a retailer of all kinds of alcoholic beverages. After working locally in Karuizawa, Matsumoto, Kanazawa, and Minami Uonuma, he joined the opening staff of KURKKU FIELDS "perus". He goes into the wilds himself to gather wild flowers, fruits, and bark, and offers a variety of drinks tailored to customers' tastes, including non-alcoholic cocktails made with natural ingredients.
Breakfast is served at Lanka bakery on the KURKKU FIELDS grounds, with freshly baked croissants as the main course each morning.
You can have it at your room terrace, farm side, grass field, or anywhere you like.
Salads and soups made with vegetables of the season grown on the farm are also served on bento plates, and are different from the dinner course menu, offering the dynamism of the farm's unique cuisine.
After a hearty dinner or in the quiet morning hours, we recommend that you take a short walk from cocoon, pick up a book at the "Library in the Earth" and spend some time in peace and tranquility.
The bookshelves are arranged like strata in the "Library in the Earth" and the experience of reading a book in a space that seems to exist as part of the earth will be a special time in which the words will soak into your body more than usual and your thoughts will be cultivated in abundance.
Guests can use the lounge from 17:00 to 11:00 the next day.
Kitchen lounge "takka" and "sauna" are also available.
After dinner or before check-out, we recommend that you spend some time in the kitchen lounge "takka". Alcohol and soft drinks can be purchased at the corner store in the lounge, and communication with not only family and friends, but also other guests and staff is one of the attractions of staying at cocoon.
