This is a special plan to commemorate our 75th anniversary and renovation.
Please take this opportunity to enjoy a stay at Ohana, where you can more deeply appreciate the history and stories of the Tachibana clan, from their days as feudal lords and counts to the present day.

Enjoy your breakfast while taking in the beautiful morning scenery of Yanagawa.
The boat is furnished to the specifications of a lord, something that can only be enjoyed at Ohana, run by a former feudal lord's clan.
You can board this boat first thing in the morning and spend some time enjoying the special morning boat ride along the canal.

Why has the Tachibana clan continued to love Yanagawa from approximately 400 years ago to the present day?
Together with the staff of Ohana, we offer an experience touring the cultural heritage sites, allowing you to connect with the culture, history, and spirit passed down by a single family.

To provide a unique reading experience meant to be enjoyed only when visiting Ohana and its cultural heritage, we offer a diverse selection of books in our book lounge.

Yanagawa has long been blessed with abundant ingredients, thanks to the rich natural environment created by the Ariake Sea—with the greatest tidal range in Japan—and the fertile Chikugo Plain.
The Tachibana clan also benefited from these blessings. Perhaps it was because Yanagawa was a prosperous region with little conflict that they were able to continue weaving their history uninterrupted for over 400 years.
From a daimyo family to a count's family, and then to a traditional restaurant and inn. Through the food culture that has developed in each era, we hope to deliver what we would like to pass on to the next 100 years.

At Shoto-en Garden, you can enjoy the beautiful sight of magnificent black pines. You can also enjoy an evening drink in the 100-tatami room, just like a feudal lord. (Please bring your own drinks from the free lounge.)

Enjoy a special morning boat trip around the canals in the spirit of a feudal lord, an experience that can only be had at "Ohana," run by a former feudal lord. At this special time in the morning, when there are few boats around, having breakfast while enjoying the passing scenery is a special experience.
*The breakfast boat will depart from our dock at 8:30,9:00 or 9:30 the following morning.
*In case of rain, depending on the weather, you may be able to enjoy the cruise only. Breakfast will be served in the Cultural Heritage Room, where you can enjoy the view of the pine garden, which has become greener due to the rain.

Morning drinks are available for free in the lobby. Please enjoy them after your morning walk or after breakfast.

The Tachibana Clan Archives, which houses one national treasure and half of Fukuoka Prefecture's Important Cultural Properties, is a museum where you can see the daimyo's tools and items from the count's family that have been carefully passed down through the Tachibana clan for about 400 years.
