Special Dinner by 四知堂 kanazawa

Si zhi tang kanazawa is a traditional townhouse restaurant located in Owaricho, Kanazawa city.

Opened in 2020, the restaurant was founded by an owner who is also a farmer, with the wish to share the experience of delicious local rice and the warmth of a Taiwanese family table here in Kanazawa.

Inspired by Taiwanese food culture, the climate of Hokuriku, and the region’s abundant gifts from both mountains and sea, Si zhi tang offers Taiwanese cuisine that can only be experienced here.

For this special occasion, at karch, the restaurant located on the basement floor of Korinkyo, we have prepared an exclusive dining plan where you can enjoy Si zhi tang’s cuisine paired with a carefully selected range of natural wines.

Korinkyo

Infused with local resources such as nature, culture, and history, Korinkyo exists as a place of sojourn which attempts to understand the nature of beauty in the Oriental world and how it is formulated. Please choose a specified time when checking in. Each time slot has a limited number of seats available and will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis, so there may not be certain times available depending on time of arrival.

Come and enjoy the Taiwanese breakfast served as a 5-course meal at Karch, a Taiwanese cuisine restaurant located in the basement of the hotel. You are able to choose from three different herbal porridges that uses rice grown by the owner himself, who has a farming background in Ishikawa.

※A half-size porridge is available for children under the age of five, if requested.If you wish to have the adult standard breakfast, it can be requested upon arrival.

Guest Room

A tranquil and secluded atmosphere. Yet, the space is comfortably furnished with a modern interior. Korinkyo is a place prescribed for healing fatigue, suitable for an enriched high quality stay.

Distillation&Shop

The distillery attached to the hotel distills forest materials from the Hakusan mountains, and the aroma can be enjoyed in both the guest rooms and rooftop sauna. Items such as Korinkyo's original amenity brand Petrichor, along with aroma water and essential oil made within the distillery is sold in the main shop.

Rooftop Sauna & Bath

The Finland-type sauna can be reserved for up to 4 people. The loyly sauna is equipped with aroma water from the hotel distillery using the forest materials of the Hakusan mountains. Also, the private terrace area is equipped with an open-air bath and cold water bath. Enjoy a sauna experience that will sharpen your senses with the colors, aromas, and atmosphere of the Hakusan foothills.

Isolation Tank

An isolation tank is a device that blocks light and sound and floats the whole body in a high-concentration aqueous solution of Epsom salt. We invite you to the utmost level of relaxation by entering a deep meditation state in a zero-gravity space, freeing the mind and body from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
