[May 23–24] Spring Farm Retreat Plan
[May 23–24] Spring Farm Retreat Plan
Touch the soil, light a fire, and share a meal.
Spend two days at the beginning of the season.
This is a limited spring retreat where you can experience
the “origin of food” in the nature of Nozawa Onsen.
■ A food journey that begins in the field
At the heart of this retreat is a sweet potato planting experience.
By touching the soil, planting seedlings, and taking part in the process of growth,
you will experience the time and care behind what we eat.
・Soil preparation
・Planting sweet potatoes and seasonal vegetables
This is not just a farming activity,
but a chance to experience “preparing the season.”
■ Onigiri lunch with spring water and firewood
After working in the field, you will collect fresh spring water
and learn to start a fire using wood.
Using these natural elements, we prepare simple onigiri (rice balls).
A meal enjoyed outdoors becomes something truly special.
■ Spring course dinner cooked over firewood
In the evening, enjoy a seasonal dinner at mont,
featuring dishes prepared over a wood fire.
Using ingredients connected to your daytime experience,
you will enjoy a course that highlights aroma, temperature, and time.
“Experience it, then eat it.”
A continuous story of food from field to table.
■ A mindful morning in nature
The second day begins with morning yoga in nature.
Breathe in the quiet surroundings and gently reset your body and mind.
Afterward, enjoy the hot springs and breakfast
before easing back into daily life.
■ A continuing experience through autumn
The sweet potatoes you plant will be harvested in autumn.
・Monthly farm updates
・Autumn harvest event (planned)
This is not a one-time experience,
but something that continues beyond your stay.
