【Room-Only】Standard Plan
■ The Plan Information
This is our simplest year-round plan for a stay without meals.
■ Introduction to Our Inn
Temari is a Small Inn Where 'Things' Take Center Stage in Daily Life
Tableware, a chabudai (low dining table), chairs, lighting, and a Goemon bath...
Rather than simply picking up items from a shelf, we hope you can truly experience the quality and value of each piece by using them throughout your stay with us.
■ About the "Yukikai" Room
Our inn, 'Kurashi no Yado Temari Yukikai,' is located on the second floor of a renovated traditional folk house.
Passing through a narrow alley and lifting the noren curtain, you'll find stairs leading to the second floor. At the top of the stairs, there is a 4-tatami mat-sized wooden floor space, with two 6-tatami mat-sized Japanese rooms next to it, as well as a simple washstand.

The main feature of the room is a large wooden lattice window.
We named it "Yukikai," as you can enjoy the changing scenery of the historical district, with people coming and going, depending on the time of day, through this window.
The room's design and renovation were handled by Kurashiki's Narimura Toru Architectural Office, which has been specializing in the restoration of traditional Japanese houses since 1981.
The selection of handcrafted items within the inn is curated by our company’s representative, Inukai.
As we have kept the building largely unchanged from its original state, the restroom and bathroom are located on the first floor, accessible by going down the stairs.
We hope you enjoy the traditional architecture of the building as well.

The bath is a rare Goemon-style tub, which is not often seen nowadays.
The cast-iron tub enhances the far-infrared effect, making the water feel smoother and warming your body from the core.
The changing area is equipped with a washing machine that has a drying function, allowing you to do your laundry during your stay, which is convenient for long trips or business travel.

We offer roasted green tea from a local long-established teahouse right in front of the inn, drip coffee, and handmade sweets from our sister store, "Haremokemo".
Please feel free to enjoy them at your leisure.

Facility Precautions
Is the property non-smoking?
The property is completely non-smoking. As the inn is located in the Bikan Historical Quarter, where many traditional buildings are closely situated, there are no designated smoking areas nearby. Guests who wish to smoke are kindly requested to use the public smoking area, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the inn.
Is the property wheelchair accessible?
The inn is a renovated traditional Japanese house. Due to its original structure, including steep stairs and narrow hallways, the property is not barrier-free and is not wheelchair accessible.
Is there a television in the room?
No, there is no television in the inn. We have chosen not to install televisions so that our guests can step away from everyday life, take their time enjoying the items provided in the inn, and appreciate the changing scenery of the Bikan Historical Quarter.
Are there any meal plans available?
Yes, we offer an in-room dining plan served in unique Arita-yaki (Arita ware) jubako boxes. The meals are carefully prepared using seasonal ingredients by a Japanese restaurant in the Bikan Historical Quarter and delivered directly to your room. If you book a room-only plan, we would also be happy to recommend dining options in the Bikan Historical Quarter based on your preferences.
Can I store my luggage before check-in and after check-out?
Yes, luggage storage is available. There is a shop located on the ground floor of the property. Please ask the shop staff or the staff at the neighboring café for assistance. Staff are generally available from around 10:00 a.m. to approximately 6:30 p.m.
Is late check-out available?
Late check-out may be available depending on availability for the following day. If you wish to request a late check-out, please contact us at the time of booking. Please note that a late check-out fee of JPY 2,000 applies.
