■ Plan Information
This is the simplest room-only stay plan available year-round.
■ Accommodation Information
"Temari inn" is a small inn where "things" take center stage.
Tableware, chabudai (low dining table), chairs, lighting, and a Goemon-buro (traditional Japanese bath)...
Rather than simply picking up items from a shelf, we hope that by using them during your stay, you will truly appreciate the quality and value of these items.
■ Room Description: "Yukikai"
Our inn, "Temari inn Yukikai," is located on the second floor of a renovated old traditional house.
You will pass through a narrow alley and, upon opening the door, you will find stairs leading to the second floor. At the top, there is a 4-tatami mat-sized wooden floor room, two 6-tatami mat-sized Japanese rooms next to it, and a simple hand-washing area.

The room's feature is the large wooden lattice window.
From this window, you can view the passing people and the changing scenery of the Bikan District throughout the day, which is why the room is named "Yukikai."
The room's design and renovation were carried out by the Narimura Tetsu Design Studio, based in Kurashiki, which has been specializing in the renovation of traditional houses since 1981.
The selection of handmade items inside the inn was carefully curated by our company representative, Inukai, to ensure a unique and thoughtful atmosphere.
The building is used largely as it was originally, with minimal alterations
We hope you enjoy the traditional architecture and craftsmanship of the building.

The bath is a rare Goemon-style bathtub, not often seen nowadays.
The cast-iron bathtub enhances the far-infrared effect, making the hot water feel smoother and warming your body from the core.
The changing area is equipped with a washing machine with a drying function, allowing you to do your laundry during your stay—perfect for long trips or business travel.

We offer roasted green tea and drip coffee from a long-established local teahouse right in front of the inn, as well as handmade sweets from our sister store, "Haremo Kemo."
Please feel free to enjoy them.

Facility Precautions
Is the property non-smoking?
The property is completely non-smoking. As the inn is located in the Bikan Historical Quarter, where many traditional buildings are closely situated, there are no designated smoking areas nearby. Guests who wish to smoke are kindly requested to use the public smoking area, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the inn.
Is the property wheelchair accessible?
The inn is a renovated traditional Japanese house. Due to its original structure, including steep stairs and narrow hallways, the property is not barrier-free and is not wheelchair accessible.
Is there a television in the room?
No, there is no television in the inn. We have chosen not to install televisions so that our guests can step away from everyday life, take their time enjoying the items provided in the inn, and appreciate the changing scenery of the Bikan Historical Quarter.
Are there any meal plans available?
Yes, we offer an in-room dining plan served in unique Arita-yaki (Arita ware) jubako boxes. The meals are carefully prepared using seasonal ingredients by a Japanese restaurant in the Bikan Historical Quarter and delivered directly to your room. If you book a room-only plan, we would also be happy to recommend dining options in the Bikan Historical Quarter based on your preferences.
Can I store my luggage before check-in and after check-out?
Yes, luggage storage is available. There is a shop located on the ground floor of the property. Please ask the shop staff or the staff at the neighboring café for assistance. Staff are generally available from around 10:00 a.m. to approximately 6:30 p.m.
Is late check-out available?
Late check-out may be available depending on availability for the following day. If you wish to request a late check-out, please contact us at the time of booking. Please note that a late check-out fee of JPY 2,000 applies.
