Spanning a generous 53 square meters, the room is graced throughout with distinctive touches of Japanese design.

Among its quiet pleasures is the view — the Tahōtō pagoda and the temple garden drawn in as "borrowed scenery," framed as if they belonged to the room itself.

The suite has its own private bathroom and toilet.

Should you wish, you are also welcome to bathe in "Kōbō no Yu," the sacred spring of the great bath.

For dinner, we prepare something special: shojin cuisine, the traditional vegetarian fare of Buddhism.

Nothing is made with meat, fish, dairy, or nuts.

If you have allergies or religious dietary needs, please let us know when you book, and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.

Because your meal is served in a private room reserved solely for guests of this suite, we can also be flexible with dining times and other details.

On the first night of your Shikoku pilgrimage, savor to your heart's content the seasonal produce grown here in the local fields.

A breakfast attuned to the season awaits you as well.

Over dinner or in the quiet of your room, you are welcome to order whatever you please — sake, umeshu (plum wine), Japanese whisky, beer, and more.
