Exquisite works of craftsmanship grace the room, and from the window the garden of Anraku-ji opens before you.

Bathe in "Kōbō no Yu," the sacred spring of the great bath that has soothed weary travelers for four hundred years.

For dinner, we prepare something special: shojin cuisine, the traditional vegetarian fare of Buddhism.

Nothing is made with meat, fish, dairy, or nuts.

If you have allergies or religious dietary needs, please let us know when you book, and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.

Because your meal is served in a private room reserved solely for guests of this suite, we can also be flexible with dining times and other details.

On the first night of your Shikoku pilgrimage, savor to your heart's content the seasonal produce grown here in the local fields.

A breakfast attuned to the season awaits you as well.

Over dinner or in the quiet of your room, you are welcome to order whatever you please — sake, umeshu (plum wine), Japanese whisky, beer, and more.

In a serene Japanese space, let the hours pass slowly as you steep yourself in history.

Capacity: 1–2 guests (plus up to 2 children sharing bedding)

・Capacity refers to the number of guests using futon bedding.
・Children are counted toward capacity if they use their own futon.
・Children's rates: ages 0–9, ¥7,500 (+tax); ages 10–12, ¥15,000 (+tax).
・Children up to age 12 sharing bedding (no futon) stay free of charge.
